We’re pleased to announce accomplished IP litigator Nick Kliewer has joined Griffith Barbee as a partner.
Nick is a registered patent attorney, electrical engineer, and U.S. Army veteran. He focuses his practice on patent litigation, post-grant proceedings before the PTAB, IP portfolio due diligence and counseling, as well as trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation.
Before starting his legal career, Nick worked for over a decade as an electrical design and applications engineer for Texas Instruments where he designed and developed complex integrated circuits. He joins Griffith Barbee from Platt Richmond, where he practiced IP litigation.
“Nick’s addition is a critical component of our continued deepening of our IP litigation bench,” said managing partner Michael Barbee. “Nick’s an elite, highly versatile litigator who brings his technical background and industry experience to the table. He will have an immediate impact on our capabilities for clients in IP disputes.”
